I bought this from Sam's online for 89.00 I believe. It was shipped in a beat up cardboard box (not new in box). When I opened the tank, I noticed it had water in it (once again, used/refurbished). I called Sam's and they are returning it, as it was sold to me "new".

Anyway, with all that said, I found it to be a good steamer for the cost. It only took 5 min to heat up, and the pressure was great (at first)! It blasted away all the dust on my baseboards (they look like new), and steamed my hardwood floors and tile great, without any mop up at all! The detail nozzle got my grout really clean!!! However, that did require lots of mop up!

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, low noise on motor, hot water, great pressure at first.

Cons: Not many tools (need one a bit bigger than detail nozzle), short cord (use extension), Pressure seems to lack after repeated use (this is very noticeable). Made in UK (parts are only available overseas)

Now, I don't know how much of the lack of pressure resulted in the fact that I apparently bought a used version.

I think I am going to try another steamer solely based on the availablity of parts. I may get stuck with it if it breaks after a period of time and I am not going to pay overseas shipping!

i have not had the chance to use all of the attachments to this wonderful product yet, but have used it to steam clean the things on my patio. I just steam cleaned the jungle of artificial plants. I found a solid wood table that someone had left behind when moving - they had painted over the wood (can't imagine why) and it was quite dirty. I used the Monster SC60 to clean it and it's wonderful.

This is a POWERHOUSE Steam Cleaner, not one of those useless hand held pieces of junk - this is the real thing.

I really like this steamer. It is powerful and steams at full pressure for a long time. I would give it 4 stars except I have worn out the little wire nozzle brush used for grout (within the year) and can not find anyone who sells replacement parts. The next steamer I buy will have to have a supplier of parts. Otherwise you are paying the full price to use the steamer until a simple part fails or wears out.

This cleaner was not at all what I'd been searching for. I have been using a friend's four year old (now discontinued)shark, and I though this would be about the same. It came in an unmarked box, badly crumpled though the items inside were perfectly fine. I immediately began the process of using it, and it did heat up really quickly. It is a great set of wheels, it moves wonderfully on the tile. However, that is where the great ends. I steamed my kitchen sink, you know that gap between the counter and sink--it's been being steamed each night with the other cleaner I have--and nothing. I tested it again, and lots of billowing steam, but the pressure just didn't seem to be there. I tried to clean a portion of the floor, but frankly, a wet towel on my hands and knees got the same result. Forget about the oven--no dice there either. I'm still looking for a great steam cleaner without spending over $200.

After reading many reviews on steam cleaners I chose this one. But it is really not good for much. I have tile floors and wanted something that could clean the grout. It doesn't. The problem that I have with it is that it really doesn't get hot. I can put my hand right on the steam outlet and not get burned. It leaves the floor soaking wet so I have to go back over it with a cloth to dry it. Then it usually streaks. Like someone else mentioned, a warm wash cloth would do the same thing. I have called the company four or five times and keep getting the runaround from someone in India. When I first got the item I immediatly sent in my registration card.
But when I talked to customer service they didn't have my information. So I faxed my reciept to them and called a few days later. They said to fax it again. Then the guy on the phone started getting cocky with me.
I will probably sell this thing in a garage sale for nothing. I even tried cleaning my jewelry with it and it doesn't get hot enough to even do that. The equipment that comes with it is very flimsy and will break very easily.
Like I said don't waste your money.

my husband always complain about the smell of household cleaners, and I had to find something to clean the house that does not smell. I ordered the monster cleaner on line, and it was a dream come true. When I received it, I stared playing with it right away and cleaned my whole kitchen, including widows, appliances and floor, and I can truly say that my kitchen has never been that clean ever and no smell and no film on my surfaces. The machine is powerful and so easy to use. I used every single attachment and love them all, I even cleaned baseboards,and my oven. My husband even joined me in cleaning, he was so excited. I highly recommend it, specially for families with small children, where you don't want chemicals around them. I recommend getting the item form amazon because the quality is always guaranteed and you will not get a used or refurbished item. I read in other reviews that the item came in an unmarked box, or had very little steam power, I was very surprised because my item came in, in its original box and functioned perfectly.

I'm a newbie to steam cleaners, so this is my first purchase. This machine is portable, easy to handle and the construction seems sturdy (although I really tried it once). However the steam temperature out of the nozzle is not high enough to really sterilize, not even with the shortest acessories, let alone the floor cleaner adapter. Hence the cleaning is good, but not great. I didn't find the pressure great either, although I would have lived with it. I guess I will have to resort to the pricier models, for the sort of temperature I'm looking for. Plus there are other cons reported here, e.g. the hard to find replacement acessories. I'm returning it, despite the steep restocking fee (wish I have read it before buying). My advice is before you buy a steamer, always make sure you can return it.

I absolutely love my MonsterSC60. I use it to clean my tile, my jetted tub, showers. It does a really great job. It doesn't take any time at all and everything is clean and sparkly. The only drawback is that they don't send enough micro cloths with it!
